Until 2018, Theo Hermann worked as managing partner of AMG Recruiting GmbH, based in Münster. In this function and over the past 20 years, he developed the recruitment services provider into a leading specialist for personnel leasing and the recruitment of qualified employees. At the start of 2019 after leaving the succession of the AMG Group to his son, he founded Executive Capital with his business partner Jörg Wirtgen.
Previously, he held various management positions at BASF and Nordenia, in Germany and abroad. Theo Hermann has extensive industry expertise in the field of disposal and supply management and maintains a well-established network of management and supervisory board members. This expertise, combined with his many years of experience in professional recruiting, makes him a valued partner when it comes to filling executive positions.
Since 2003, Theo Hermann has been active in various industry associations, including the board of the Federal Employers’ Association of Personnel Service Providers (BAP e.V., Berlin), where until the end of 2019 he was responsible for the finance division. Since 2011 he has also volunteered for a Massai boarding school project in Kenya, for which he travels to Africa several times a year.

Jörg Wirtgen founded Executive Capital at the beginning of 2019 together with his business partner Theo Hermann. The experienced personnel consultant and coach is specialised in the energy, waste disposal and insurance industries. In these sectors, he assists companies in recruiting for management and supervisory board positions. He attributes his success to close personal cooperation with his clients.
His long-standing experience allows him to find the best candidates both substantively and personality-wise. Jörg Wirtgen is the founder and managing director of the personnel consulting company WM-Consult GmbH. For ten years, he was a management board member of a consulting company focused on organisational development and coaching. Prior to this, he spent three years as a member of the executive board responsible for human resources, legal affairs, management integration and organisation in a company in the food, beverage and tobacco industry.
His areas of expertise include change management, potential analyses, coaching, personnel development and crisis management. Jörg Wirtgen was also president of the Association for the Promotion of Business Psychology for five years (WiPs).
